This won’t last. The coach lets anybody come back to the team.

He probably should have been dismissed from the team.

He is done for the season, but has a redshirt available.  They have a Dennis Dixon clone in Darren Thomas, and many in Oregon fell that Masoli will have a tough time getting his job back in 2011, after Thomas gets a full season under his belt.

LaMichael James is suspended for the opener but that is it.  Legally James offense ended up being worse, but Masoli lied to Chip Kelley which is why he is getting the 1 year suspension.

This is why he won’t be suspended for the entire season. If Oregon doesn’t win right off the bat then he will lift it and do what he can to save a season. Or he may just lift it after the first game and say “he did what he had to do to get back on the right track so we are giving him another chance”

No, he is done.  I am pretty sure that will not even practice till next spring.

I am not sure why you are having a tough time accepting the truth?

Blount? Wasn’t he supposed to be done for the season bc of a punch to a face on national TV? He lies and gets the same punishment? Come on..

Blount was completely different.  When he was suspended it was always done with the chance of him coming back.  They did not want to tell him that, as they wanted to test his character.

Had he been in the SEC it would have been a half game suspension if that (Brandon Spikes, and that was self-imposed against a cupcake).

I’m not saying that it WON’T be a season long suspension. I’ll just believe it when I see it.

The thing that makes me angry about this is the other player in the burglary with Masoli was kicked off the team. Masoli should have received the same fate. NCAA should get involved with this. Someone told me that 11 ducks have been arrested in the past year. That is ridiculous.
