He missed out on 2 Heismans, was screwed out of one MNC, was hurt in the first 5 plays of the one he actually got to, has most wins as a QB in NCAA history, and beat Bradford I think 3/4 years they played. I’m sure Mack would do the whining for him.

I am sorry, but anyone who takes Bradford with the #1 pick is a moron.  Even McCoy should probably be a lower first round pick at best.  None of these QB’s threw atthe combine, and in my opinion, there is none out there that I believe will set the world on fire.

I didn’t say the #1 pick just taken before McCoy. I don’t think McCoy will work out in the NFL but that is just me. He needs to be able to take a hit first..

      There is absolutely no doubt that Bradford is going before McCoy.  Bradford is a top-3 pick, while McCoy’s best bet is the 2nd round.

    I have noticed in my time on this board that some people here have a lot of trouble with QB evaluation, especially as it pertains to translating to the NFL.

McCoy does not project well to the NFL.  I realize the offense Bradford plays in isn’t exactly conducive to that status either, but he has tools that translate better and has displayed great decision making and smooth progression reads throughout his brief college career.

McCoy doesn’t play under center.  He’s undersized.  He doesn’t have NFL starter quality arm strength.  He projects his throws and doesn’t make reads and constantly throws on the run.  He’s a west coast quarterback project for a team like Kansas City and I’d be surprised if he gets drafted on day 1.

Bradford would have been a #1 pick last year over Stafford.

  The point others are making is that this is stupid.  You are saying if, as if there is some doubt as to what is going to happen.  Bradford may go #1, while McCoy is not considered a 1st rounder by anyone.
