Thanks! Red I’m with you. I heard all the preseason hype and couldn’t really comment to much because as I said then I’ve never seen us this good before. Now after watching us, and watching us lately we are very good.. perhaps the best team in the country on defense and with Da Butler we can score when it counts.

The second game between Clemson/Missouri winner scares me. Our guard play has improved but both those teams press full court. Should be interesting. If we get past that one I like us to Kentucky if they make it that far. They are young…. and the tourney is a different animal.

WVU v Kentucky…. that would be one of the ages. I just hope we make it past our second game lol

Those are some interesting potential games. The Clemson/Missouri game should be fun to watch because both teams like the fast pace.

my biggest concern if i am a neer fan is, sometimes that offense disappears.  that can’t happen much from the 2nd weekend on.

I think DeCourcy has yall beating Kentucky. I have you losing to them and them losing to Kansas. Hate to say that the seeding is right because that is boring but I truly see Kansas playing Kentucky for the championship. It will be the battle to see who has the second best basketball tradition. raspberry

A lot of people don’t think KY is going to make it to the Elite 8.

Congratulations to WVU’s coaches, players, and fans. Winning the Conference Tournament is an acheivement to be proud of.

As for the 2nd best basketball tradition…....I’m sure before Kentucky gets back on probation they’ll sustain a moderate amount of success. They should absolutely own their conference. They have no excuse not to.

Kansas is just Kansas. They may be close to the invention of basketball, but they’ll always play 2nd fiddle. If it weren’t for two UNC grads (Brown and Williams) they wouldn’t have had nearly as much success as they’d had. Of course, Dean Smith played for Kansas, so UNC kind of owed ‘em.
