What’s everyone think?

Not a fan.  Helmets look stupid compared to the gold, and idk….it looks to much like Oklahoma with the color combos.

Awful. I hate them. Why would you change the best helmet in college football?

Well, I wouldn’t go THAT far….but it definitely is a classic that should not be messed with.

Don’t care for them either. Stick to tradition. Gold helmet, white jerseys, gold pants. Nothing beats a classic.

I am not a FSU fan, but one thing I do like about the school is the gold helmet and gold pants. I would not think it wise to change the helmet. Of course, it’s the new thing and a way for schools to make money with merchandise sales. I guess the players may like it for a change. I guess the fact that I don’t like it is making me old

Speaking of tradition, someone forwarded me Clemson’s new jerseys (without the white piping?), saying it’s back to the traditional look. However, if memory serves the one thing I remember many, many years ago that stood out for me was the paws were on the shoulderpads, not the sleeves. Is this correct? If so, then these new jerseys are a bit of a letdown, because I always thought the pad-paws were a snazzy accoutrement without making the overall look overwhelming. When I first saw that a long time ago I thought “that’s pretty cool.”

you can’t put lipstick on a pig….........Oklahoma will crucify them in any uniform they wear, but i think the blood will show better in these new unis

FSU has cool uniforms and should leave them alone.

I think the same should be true with FSU, its a classic….don’t mess with it like this.

I haven’t heard anything about anything new at Clemson regarding uniforms.  Care to share this information?  But yes, that is correct sir, the uniforms used to have the paws on the shoulders rather then sleeves.  However these days its almost like a hybrid between the shoulder and sleeve…not all the way on one or the other.  See the pics below.

I hate when the uniforms are messed with.  It should be orange jerseys and white pants at home, orange and orange for home special occasions, and all white on the road, period.  Honestly the all purple was not that bad to me, but it should only be for special occasions like the all orange, and never should be mixed with orange.  Either all purple or no purple.

The gold helmets that FSU wears are definitely one of the coolest helmets out there.  I don’t really care for those white helmets, but like someone else said it’s only for this game so it’s not a real big deal.

you can dress them up like Oklahoma, but they are still gonna play like FSU and get crushed
