With Haden as new AD, I immediately felt Kiffin was on a short leash due to his association with a black mark in USC’s history. With this news, that leash just got shorter.
The lawsuit doesn’t have a great deal of merit. If it’s not settled out before trial it will mean Kiffin must return to Tennessee. I think Kiffin is a great recruiter, but he needs advisors or something. He seems to put himself into tough positions. I mean really? Is the guy he hired really going to make the offensive calls as coordinator? It’s mighty close to the start of preseason drills and training camp. Why did Kiffin feel the need to try and get this guy right now? It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

I would be interested in reading something from you that has actual merit to it. Instead of this retarded SoCal BS that you constantly bring to this board. Why are you fixed on the Southern idea? Lane Kiffin is an unproven coach at best. Explain to me where his accomplishments are? As a head coach (NFL and College) he is 12-21. He was called a “flat out liar” in Oakland then landed himself in Tennessee. Before even making his UT debut, Kiffin made major waves to head coaches around the SEC by calling them cheats and accusing them of violations. Before the season was even over he was on strike two. Then he bolts from UT to USC a month before signing day leaving his committed players behind. Sound like a good guy? How about after he tried to poach the players not already on campus from UT to USC. And now all of this happens with the Titans? Sounds like a great catch to me. But hey, if you think that he is a good to great coach than I am happy to get that d bag out of the SEC.
