Nice! The maturity this young man is displaying is something to be admired. I wonder if he also texted Brian Butler of his intentions.

The act of text messaging has stolen the testicles of an entire generation.  I appreciate it’s use for asking a friend “what time is the movie” or some other question not elaborate enough to warrant a whole conversation.  It’s used inappropriately now for things that deserve face-to-face contact!

I absolutly agree! Maybe I’m too old for it, maybe I’m just old fashioned with my communication efforts but my wife texting me to find out if I want to go to Europe in two months…see this screams let’s talk about this for a few days before making a decison on whether we can or want to spend $4gs.

With the way things are going we won’t even be texting soon anyway. Just look at your phone (watch, sunglasses) and talk to whoever is on the other side. Watching my 83 year old grandparents just try to operate a simple cordless phone is evidence of how fast things have and are changing.

And about Brown, I had heard earlier that CDD told him to get in or get out.

I’m 24 and I agree with that calhokie.  Somethings need to be face to face, like his decision to leave.  Its more professional and a common courtesy.
