In the Hardball interview he states that he’s a Bush supporter. He says a phone call from Bush would not stop him from continuing the burning.

I think you’re spot on here. He’s looking for his 15 minutes, and the media is giving it to him. His church only has 50 members; nobody would have known about this if the media didn’t give it so much attention. He’ll get his 15 minutes, a few more supporters, and a target on his forehead, not to mention the ammunition it gives al qaeda.

Very stupid thing to do. Although I don’t think Al Queda needs any more “bulletin board material.” They hate us so much anyways.
