*It was a sloppy performance by the Hurricanes, but giv Jacory Harris and the offense credit for making plays when they had to. The 4th quarter, 4th down conversion from Harris to Aldarious Johnson is one of the plays of the year this season for Miami. After extending the drive, the 'Canes scored on a Harris to Travis Benjamin pass that put UM back on top for good. It was frustrating, it was ugly at times, but it's a win. And Harris deserves to be recognized for the comeback.

*The muffed punt near the goaline was the catalyst for the Miami comeback. Down 27-14 at that punt, the miscue gave UM the ball near the goaline and the Hurricanes took full advantage with a two yard pass from Harris to Tervaris Johnson. The sequence of events turned momentum around and seemed to be the turning point Miami needed to spark a series of big plays. Often forgotten about and overlooked, specials teams can be the deciding factor in close ball games.

*How about the duel between Harris and Riley Skinner? What fun. Two of the ACC's best combined for nearly 680 yards passing and five touchdowns. Both players are calm, collected leaders who excel in clutch situations. Skinner and the Demon Deacons won the first half, but Harris and 'Canes made the big plays late. Hats off to both signal callers.

*It's pretty amazing that Miami gave up over 550 yards of total offense, over 400 yards passing, committed seven penalties and only held the football for just over 21 minutes and won. But good teams find a way to overcome mistakes and the bottom line is winning. The Hurricanes have been a bottom line football team in a couple of big games this year, edging out FSU and now Wake Forest late. This team doesn't lose their composure, a credit to Randy Shannon and his staff.

*Wake Forest turned the football over four times, fumbling three times. It was an atypically mistake-filled game for the Demon Deacons. Wake Forest held a 13 point lead, at home, early in the 4th quarter. Mistakes and missed assignments cost this team down the stretch.
