Danny Wuerffel is one of the most recognizable names in SEC football history. The 1996 Heisman Trophy winner, Wuerffel led the Gators to the 1996 National Championship. In the game, Wuerffel and the Gators dominated rival Florida State 52-20. He is one of just three UF players to win the Heisman Trophy, the other two being Steve Spurrier and Tim Tebow.
