*It was a game Georgia Tech needed, as they looked to clinch the ACC Coastal Division, and they definitely took it after a sluggish start. Congratulations to Paul Johnson, his staff and the Yellow Jacket players for clinching the division and advancing to the ACC Championship Game. Many said the triple option wouldn't work in the ACC. Oddly enough, some media pundits still argue the offense wouldn't be successful in other leagues (shakes head and laughs...).

*Quarterback Josh Nesbitt continues to impress. We know he's tough, we know he can carry this offense, we know he is a touchdown machine. On Saturday, he threw for nearly 200 yards and two passing touchdowns. A dynamic talent, Nesbitt has developed into one of the top quarterbacks in college football. His contributions are invaluable to the consistency and fluid success of this triple option offense.

*Georgia Tech's defense came to play. With All-American defensive end Derrick Morgan leading the way, the Yellow Jackets frustrated Duke quarterback Thaddeus Lewis and didn't give up the big play downfield. With the sacks taken into account, Duke finished the game with 25 rushing yards. Lewis and Sean Renfree had no time to throw.

*Media members and fans nationally don't give Jonathan Dwyer enough credit. Sure he is well-known, but his productivity is remarkable. Dwyer rumbled for 110 more rushing yards and two more touchdowns, averaging 7.9 yards per carry. He runs with a great mix of power, agility and field vision.

*Though the Blue Devils have lost two straight, don't forget what Duke has accomplished this season. David Cutcliffe is changing the culture in Durham and has this team competing on a consistent basis. Duke was overwhelmed against GT today, but most opponents have been when they face the Yellow Jackets.
