*C.J. Spiller for Heisman, the man can do it all. Spiller had a career day running ball going for 165 yards averaging 7.5 yards per carry. The “orange blur” also had 67 yards receiving and 71 yards on kick returns. Spiller finished with 312 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.

*Fact: Jacoby Ford and C.J. Spiller are now the all time all-purpose yardage duo in NCAA history. Enough said.

*Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden said it best about Spiller, “I doubt if anybody is playing better than him in the country. We talked all week about the wheel route, and he runs it one time and it was about ninety miles per hour for a touchdown. That is why he is mighty hard to handle.”

*The Florida State defense continued to struggle. Freshman quarterback Kyle Parker threw four touchdown passes and Clemson had 483 yards of total offense. The Florida State offense has played well all season and it appears they consistently must outscore their opponents every week.

*Christian Ponder had a bad game. It was his first of the season. "Definitely disappointed. A lot of it fell on me. We had a chance to win the game and I didn't come through," said Ponder. He has played lights out all season and he will bounce back fine. Running back Jermaine Thomas was a bright spot for the 'Noles as he completed his second straight 100 yard rushing game.

*The Clemson Tiger defense really showed up in the second half, only allowing seven points. The Tiger secondary forced Christian Ponder into 4 interceptions. Ponder had only throw three all season up to this game.

*Clemson has now solidified itself as the front runner in the ACC Atlantic. The Tigers have now won four games in a row. Look for Clemson to coast into the ACC Championship game. Next weekend: at North Carolina State. Coach Dabo Swinney may disagree with me though; "Were happy, but we're not satisfied. We still have more games to play, so we still have to go back to work and get ready for the NC State game next week. We've come far, but we still have a ways to go," said Swinney
