ACC X-Factor of the Week - E.J. Manuel, Florida State - Making his first start, the redshirt freshman did something an FSU quarterback hadn't done since 2005, beat Wake Forest. Manuel did a good job managing the game and scored two touchdowns.

SEC Defensive POW - Justin Trattou, Florida
SEC Special Teams POW - Demond Washington, Auburn
SEC Coach of the Week - Houston Nutt, Ole Miss
SEC X-Factor of the Week - Florida defensive line - In a game many pegged one of the hardest on their schedule, the UF defensive line stepped up and forced USC QB Stephen Garcia into many rushed decisions and mistakes. The consistent pass rush proved too much for the Gamecocks.
SoCon Offensive POW - Chris Evans, Samford
SoCon Defensive POW - D.J. Smith, Appalachian State
SoCon Special Teams POW - Chris Camay, Chattanooga
SoCon Coach of the Week - Jerry Moore, Appalachian State
SoCon X-Factor of the Week - Armanti Edwards, Appalachian State - A near pefect day throwing the football, plus three more rushing touchdowns. Edwards led a balanced offensive attack that humbled the league's top ranked Elon defense.
