Shawn Smith Commits to South Carolina

Class of 2017 four-star receiver Shawn Smith out of Brunswick High School announced on Saturday afternoon that was giving his verbal commitment to Will Muschamp and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Class of 2017 four-star receiver Shawn Smith out of Brunswick High School announced on Saturday afternoon that was giving his verbal commitment to Will Muschamp and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Recently ranked as a member of the ESPN 300 for his class, Smith held over a dozen offers from the likes of Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Miami.

Smith started off his junior season at receiver for Brunswick High, but became the starting quarterback later on in the campaign. He is still currently projected as a receiver at the next level.
