Weekly Coastal Georgia Recruiting Round-Up

It was a very busy weekend for coastal Georgia prospects, as at least nine prospects picked up new offers or had recent developments.

- Michael Campbell Jr. (WR/CB, 5'11, 165 lbs.) from McIntosh County Academy was offered by Mercer and Army. Campbell Jr. ran a 4.3 40 yard dash at ESPFC.

- Jeremiah Compton (DB, 6'1, 185 lbs.) from Camden County was also offered by Army. He currently holds offers from Navy and a host of FCS schools.

- Jaylen Jackson (DB, 6'0, 182 lbs.) from Brunwick High School received offers from App State and Washington State, bringing his offer total to 14.

- Justin Jeffery (ATH,6'2, 168 lbs.) from Richmond Hill picked up an offer from The Citadel. That's his eighth offer so far.

- Toot Johnson (RB, 5'11, 195 lbs.) from Effingham County ran a 4.41 at Georgia's camp and a 4.39 at Ole Miss. His only offer to date is from Central Michigan.

- Tyrone Scott (WR, 6'2, 185 lbs.) from Jenkins High School was offered by Western Carolina, Marshall, App State, and Ball State over the weekend. He already had offers from Boston College, Chattanooga, Georgia Southern, Western Kentucky, Tulane, and Mercer, among others.

- Jalynn Strickland (OT, 6'6, 309lbs.) from Ware County says he will be committing on Independence Day and tweeted over the weekend that Arkansas was his best visit to date. He also has offers from App State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, and Maryland, to name a few.

- Tramel Walthour (DT, 6'4, 280 lbs.) from Liberty County was offered by Marshall and Tennessee over the weekend. He currently holds offers from Georgia, Arkansas, Auburn, and Ohio State, among others.

- Winston Wright (ATH, 5'10, 166 lbs.) from Memorial Day School was offered by Western Carolina, Coastal Carolina and Western Kentucky over the weekend. Those were his second, third, and fourth offers, as he already had one from Mercer.
