Hendon Hooker has been named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Florida.

Hooker dominated on Saturday, throwing for 349 yards and 2 touchdowns, while rushing for 112 yards and another score. The senior quarterback led the Volunteers to a 38-33 win over Florida, their first since 2016. Tennessee scored touchdowns on 4 consecutive drives during a crucial stretch in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

On the year, Hooker has thrown for 1,193 yards and 8 touchdowns without throwing an interception. He’s also rushed for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns.

No. 8 Tennessee will face LSU at noon in Death Valley on October 8th, following this week’s bye.
