Harrison Mevis did it all against Arkansas: five goal goals, a make of over 50 yards and a game-winner.

Few players in college football history have had a game quite like Missouri kicker Harrison Mevis did against Arkansas on Saturday.

In one of the wildest games of this entire season, Mevis scored 20 of the 50 points it took for Missouri to win its fifth game of the year, accounting for nine points in the fourth quarter alone. The Tigers needed every single one of them. Mevis opened the afternoon with an impressive 51-yard field goal, then later added kicks of 29, 37, 40 and 32 yards. His final conversion, coming 43 seconds after Arkansas took the lead on a deflected catch on a two-point conversion try, was an ice-cold game-winner.

The walk-off shot from Mevis helped Missouri finish its largest fourth quarter comeback in program history.

Even on a weekend with a number of record-setting individual performances across college football, Mevis was a true superstar on Saturday. His showing stands out as one of the best of this season. Mevis was both productive and perfect on the afternoon, calmly ending an instant-classic with the simple swing of his leg. He became just the second SEC kicker this millennium to score at least 20 points in a single game. Additionally, Mevis is the only kicker in the country to reach that total this season and the only kicker with five field goals in one outing.

Mevis did it all against Arkansas: five goal goals, a make of over 50 yards and a game-winner. In week 12 in the SEC, he outscored LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee and tied Auburn.

Now 16-of-19 on the season, Mevis is having an oustanding freshman season. He, in one year, already has three field goals of over 50 yards for his career, just the fourth Missouri kicker ever to do so. Mevis, beyond just his remarkable performance on Saturday, has been clutch for the Tigers all season, coming through in low-scoring defensive wins over Kentucky and South Carolina. His showing against Arkansas comes with national acclaim and should position Mevis for notable postseason considerations.

In a SEC contest with countless big plays, Mevis made some of the most important ones. His game-winner was a fitting end for a game to remember.
