The Southern Pigskin week eight players of the week in the Southeastern Conference.

SEC Offensive Player of the Week: Aaron Murray, Georgia – Completed 30-of-38 passes for 427 yards and four touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 29-24 win over Kentucky.

SEC Defensive Player of the Week: Chase Garnham, Vanderbilt – Recorded nine tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and three sacks in the Commodores’ 17-13 win over Auburn.

SEC Special Teams Player of the Week: Kyle Christy, Florida – Punted seven times for 380 yards, averaging 54 yards per kick with a long of 62 in the Gators’ 44-11 win over South Carolina.

SEC Freshman of the Week: Amari Cooper, Alabama – Caught seven passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns in the Crimson Tide’s 44-13 triumph over Tennessee.

SEC Coach of the Week: Will Muschamp, Florida – The Gators did not allow a single touchdown in their 44-11 victory over South Carolina.

SEC X-Factor of the Week: Jeremy Hill, LSU – Rushed 18 times 127 yards and a touchdown, compiling over 100 yards in the second half, in the Tigers’ 24-19 win over Texas A&M.
