The week two award winners in the Southern Conference.

nSoCon Offensive Player of the Week: Ailym Ford, Chattanooga — Ran 22 times for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Mocs’ 20-0 win over North Alabama.

nSoCon Defensive Player of the Week: Devonnsha Maxwell, Chattanooga — Recorded four total tackles and a school-record 3.5 sacks in the Mocs’ 20-0 win over North Alabama.

nSoCon Special Teams Player of the Week: Timmy Bleekrode, Furman — Converted 4-of-4 field goal attempts, with a long of 51 yards, in the Paladins’ 26-0 win over Tennessee Tech.

nSoCon Coach of the Week: Rusty Wright, Chattanooga — The Mocs held North Alabama to just 90 total yards in their 20-0 win over the Lions.

nSoCon X-Factor of the Week: Jerrell Lawson, Chattanooga — Had four solo tackles and a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Mocs’ 20-0 win over North Alabama.
