Southern Pigskin's 2017 Sun Belt recruiting class rankings.

1. Texas State: The Bobcats defensive line could be a force to be reckoned with on the legs of DT Gjemar Daniels and Edge Rusher Jakharious Smith.

2. Arkansas State: Yet again, Arkansas State has one of the league’s most underrated classes, but when you factor in the JUCO signings, it’s right up there with the best of them.

3. Appalachian State: Offensive depth came in droves to Boone, including a future star at wide receiver, Thomas Hennigan.

4. Georgia Southern: Late addition Jaalon Frazier, a prototype dual-threat quarterback ties together a strong class for Tyson Summers.

5. Georgia State: Jack Walker could prove to be the prize of Shawn Elliott's first class in Atlanta.

6. Louisiana-Monroe: With the class, the Warhawks won’t have to worry about the secondary for years.

7. Troy: JUCO signing Rasool Clemons will be an immediate impact player for the Trojans.

8. South Alabama: Kendric Haynes may be one of the Sun Belt’s best linebackers in a few years.

9. Louisiana: It was all about bolstering the defense for the ‘Ragin Cajuns, this recruiting go-round.

10. New Mexico State: Josh Adkins was a huge grab at quarterback, in spite of the program’s uncertainty about the future.

11. Coastal Carolina: Octavius Pringle is the kind of big body, up front, that you can build an FBS defense around.

12. Idaho: Dylan Lemle, a quarterback from Los Angeles, will be an interesting piece in the Vandals’ offense, going forward.
