Five-star cornerback Jalen Ramsey will play his college ball in Tallahassee.
Five-star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who committed to USC back in July, stunned the Trojan coaching staff late Monday night by calling and informing them that he would not be signing his letter of intent with USC.
Instead, Ramsey has decided to take his immense talents down south to play for head coach Jimbo Fisher and the Florida State Seminoles.
Though Ramsey had been looking around for quite some time and had taken all five of his allotted official visits, most recruiting experts projected that he would ultimately end up on the west coast with the Trojans.
The commitment of Ramsey is huge for a Florida State coaching staff which has seen a rather noticeable dip in their recruiting rankings following back-to-back elite recruiting classes. Ramsey is the first five-star commit to pledge for the Seminoles in this recruiting cycle, although Florida State is still considered to be a favorite for five-star linebacker Matthew Thomas.
