Clearly, the Hurricanes are ready for the moment, proving it time and time again.

This is a Miami team that plays, and wins, with confidence and conviction. One of just three remaining unbeatens in all of power five football, the Hurricanes are here because they expect to be. Regardless of the situation, regardless of the score, the focus for Miami doesn't change. The Hurricanes have now won 15 consecutive games, the longest streak in the nation. Miami has earned its spot near the top of the polls, consistently responding in situations where seasons, and legacies, are defined.

After trailing Virginia 28-14 in the second half on Saturday, Miami rallied for 30 unanswered points and a 44-28 victory. Such has been the narrative of this fall; as each game has been played, a storm has been brewing. Over their last six contests, the Hurricanes have outscored their opponents 50-12 in the fourth quarter, absolutely dominating down the home stretch. Dramatic finishes against the likes of Florida State and Georgia Tech aren't just highlights, as much as they are examples of how this program performs in the bright lights.

Against the Cavaliers, Jaquan Johnson's 30-yard pick-six was the key turning point. Following a Malik Rosier touchdown pass that brought Miami within seven, Johnson's interception return tied the contest and, in terms of momentum, broke the game wide open. Johnson now has picks in three straight outings and four of his last five games overall.

Clearly, the Hurricanes are ready for the moment, proving it time and time again. That notion isn't a trend at Miami, it's tradition.

When on the big stage and when the pressure has mounted, the Hurricanes have been at their absolute best; it's a sentiment that forecasts well for the future.
