That should be entertaining. That makes it worth watching.

My understanding is that his role will be around the standard for an impeachable offense, which is probably a good role for him.

Plus he kept his underwear on. So it doesn’t count.

Can we just vote to dismiss and call it a day? If this is all Schiff and company have then this firefight is already over

Well it was a perfect call…that’s why they don’t want witnesses.

Instead of opening statements of why Trump was impeached, the House Managers are spending their time whining about the Senate rules when these people could have subpoenaed all of the same witnesses they suddenly want.  They also didn’t allow the Republicans to get their witnesses, mainly the whistle-blower, because the Dems controlled the show.

Shoes on the other foot now.

No it’s not and the witnesses were demanded and the White House refused to comply and knew the courts would run out the clock.

But of course that is reality and you don’t live in that.

I think it’s because the call was perfect.

Today Adam Schiff said that the the reason that they didn’t subpoena John Bolton was his attorney threatened to sue if they did.  Seriously? Schiff even suggested that Bolton wants to testify now possibly because he has a book coming out.

Had Bolton sued to fight a subpoena, the liberals in the House would have been on every TV show putting pressure.

The House could have Subpoenaed anyone they wanted and let them fail to show and they could have also allowed the Republicans to bring forth whatever witness they want but that was not allowed either so this is all political theater. 

Nah it’s not but I get why when you are innocent you don’t want all the evidence out. You also try to hide things on a classified server and release the aid when you are caught.

What more evidence does there need to be? We know about the phone call, we know what was said. What more?  The phone call was released, the transcript of the phone call was released.  What other fishing are you looking for?

How bout the guy who said he wanted nothing to do with this “drug deal” or how bout the guy who said we need to just “get over it” and said of course they did it for politics.

Every thing you want to hear about was the charge of the House during the impeachment investigation.  That is not the Senates job. Please for once admit that the goal of this Impeachment/Senate trial is NOT to remove the President and your Commander In Chief.  Call it what it is which is the Democrats attempt to hurt as many members of the Senate to affect the elections in November. 

Hell Maxine Waters is already talking about another round of Impeachment after this Senate Trial is over.
