First, this unique season has shown something I’ve been a proponent of for a long time which is for the ACC to eliminate divisional play and allow the 2 best teams as the end of the year to compete to the conference title instead of divisional play.

This game is going to be different for a number of reasons.  Hopefully both teams will be at close to full strength.  It’s going to be on a neutral field and I’ll wager the weather will be colder. No excuses on this one.

After watching the first game, if Clemson can’t stop the very elusive Ian Book this game could get away from us again.  Venables has to find a way to contain him and find a way for him to stop using the TE as his parachute to escape.  That killed us.

Both teams are going to put up points.  This is all about which defense does the best.

Comes down to us being healthy.  I think we win by 2 scores if healthy.

They go to the playoff even with a loss.  We probably don’t go to the playoffs with a loss.  IMO

I agree. Getting guys back could make a huge difference. We’ve been depleted on defense and at WR not to mention Trevor.

If seen people suggesting that if OSU is going to get in, the ACC should cancel this game and then have two teams in the playoff.

Told y’all, 2 scores.  At least.

What a dominating performance. ND’s offense had some early success but once Venables got the right adjustments implemented Ian Book was shut down and was running for his life most of the game.

Trevor looked great. Dabo was obviously trying to highlight Trevor and it was risky running him as much as he did. It payed off because TL’s running kept ND’s defense off balance and we had some big chunk plays.

The late targeting call was stupid and I hope it doesn’t hurt us.

It’s going to be interesting who we draw in the playoffs.  Base on what I’m seeing, Bama’s the only team that measure up against our team when it’s health.

Our defense is much better when Davis is disrupting up the middle and the other speed guys on the DL can chase a scrambling QB.

Losing Turner for the first half against tOSU was pretty stupid.

The offense is so smooth and hard to stop with a running QB and/or TL back there.  DJ did great in the first game but we didn’t run him since he was hurt a little too.  TL running had a HUGE impact on this game and it opened things up for ETN.
