We have the CFL, which is a very established league for those that aren’t quite good enough for the NFL ranks.  Part of the AAF’s problem is the talent pool just wasn’t good.  I dare say many of the top 10 college teams could beat most of the AAF’s teams.

The XFL is going to try to seduce college kids with easy money and again, you aren’t going to have a quality talent pool.

I’m old enough to remember the USFL and I liked that league.  What they did was step up and go after top NFL talents and landed some names like Hershel Walker.

With all of that said, college football and the CFL are your pools for the best players that are trying to make it to the NFL.  The rest of the talent pool just isn’t exciting enough to pack a stadium in the Spring.

That’s a pretty good analysis. I agree with you on the Canadian league and college being the system for the NFL. The USFL did give it a good shot and got some name players, but it never got deep enough with talent to overcome being a second league.

The Generals - interesting. He was working at being Commander in Chief that far back. My guess is the Russians had already contacted him.

That proves it! Why else would they be red? Clearly, this goes back a long way.

Lol, why you guys are so willing to expose your own ignorance all the time is truly beyond me….I don’t suggest it. It is fact. Trump bankrupted the league by trying to sue the NFL. He won 1 dollar. He absolutely ruined a good thing and screwed a league and all involved due to the fact the NFL owners would not let him in the league and he wanted to force his way in.

You are right, though he was definitely practicing for what he is doing to all of us.
If you knew what the fuck you were talking about you would know this. Read any history of the USFL. You don’t have to take my word for it. It is funny that in trying to make fun of me you once again expose your lack of knowledge. Lol

Why do you think he won’t release his taxes? Because just like this example he is all hat and no cattle. Everything he touches eventually turns to shit. No surprise though you two can’t grasp it. You would actually have to know what you were talking about.

Lord you are so gullible.  You think I didn’t know this when I posted it?  I lived through those days.  Hell, ESPN has a great 30 for 30 on the subject and is one of the better documentaries.  I knew a mere mention of the name Trump would get you spun up and you hit the bait and ran with it.  Hahahahaha.
