Should players be granted release from scholarship?

In the past couple weeks two five-star recruits from the class of 2013 have asked to be released from their scholarships.

Do you think that schools should grant a player’s request to back out of a scholarship after they already signed a letter of intent?

CBS released its preliminary schedule:

9/14: Alabama at Texas A&M, 3:30
11/2: Georgia vs. Florida, 3:30 (previously announced)
11/29 (Fri): Arkansas at LSU, 2:30
12/7: SEC Championship Game, 4:00

Oct. 19 (12:00/3:30) and Nov. 9 (3:30/8:00) will be the two doubleheader weekends. LSU at Alabama is seemingly a lock for 8:00 on Nov. 9. CBS gets the 1st and 2nd picks on Nov. 9 and the 1st and 4th picks on Oct. 19.

On a personal note…I have a wedding that starts a half-hour after Alabama-Texas A&M kicks off. I have to skip it, right?
