Clemson’s offense is in good shape.  Defense will certainly be where all eyes will be at Clemson.

Chase Brice needs to get a lot of reps and sunshine needs to be on the sidelines with a clipboard and baseball hat

I agree. The defensive front will be the focus. I would still like to see a few of the new guys on the OL and would love to see a TE step up.

No injuries. I would like to see someone step up as the new elite pass rusher, but I’m afraid the OL is going to make several people look like all Americans. James Blackman better be protected with bubble wrap.

We will be very thin at TE as well, that and how the Dline steps up IMO.

If you’re happy with good enough, then good enough is what you’ll be. Greatness requires the expectation of excellence.

DL
LB speed
Punting
Backup QB.  Chase and the Freshman.
New slot usage.  Likely Rodgers here who is far more physical than Hunter.
Freshmen.

We are thin at TE but haven’t used them heavily lately.

Brand new everything. There is a ton of buzz around the UNC program now. They had a decent recruiting season, and are right now rated 9th nationally. They are installing the Air Raid system. The defense will be like nothing I’ve ever seen. DC Jay Bateman has a “positionless” defensive system based on a 3-4 structure.

That’s a good start. That defense sounds interesting. I’ll look forward to watching that to see how it plays out.

I’m also pretty interested to see what GT does.  I wonder how long it will take me to see them running a different system.
