After putting up an +18 at a place he basicly owns, well use to anyway can he get back to being the worlds #1?

It’s mathmatical at this point that Phil will be #1 in the standings although he has been playing like #1 for a while now.

I hate it for TW but his mind is not on golf right now. His kids are about to move to Sweden….that would rattle anyone no matter who they are and how much $$ they have. I hope for his sake that after all this passes he gets back to being “Tiger Tiger Woods y’all”!

In an interview he said he hasn’t practiced much at all. He said he’s choosing to spend every available moment with his kids. What this means is golf is not his life any more. He has been through a lot, much of it by his own doing. One thing we all know is that we have had the opportunity in our lifetime to see what is arguably the greatest golfer to ever live. What we also know is that we may never see that golfer again. By saying what he said Woods’ has basically said that golf is not everything to him, and in a way he is right on.

Its certainly different seeing Tiger struggle like this on the course. I think he has a lot of good golf left in him but he has to get his life straight.

It would be hard for anyone to perform under his circumstances; and I believe that’s particularly true for Tiger. He had tremendous ability to focus and turn it on when necessary, and that helped separate him from the rest. I think it’s new to him to have a struggle with that.

I don’t think he gets back to what he used to be. Issues like that in your personal life will change you forever.

Money can’t buy happiness, this guy’s life just feels like a complete train wreck after that cheating incident.

ESPN 30 for 30 coming on this one for sure.  Fall from grace.  I think what I’m most mad at him losing the Gatorade flavors after that first incident, the mint green colored Gatorade Tiger was the best ever.

I have always been in the small bunch of people that wanted TW to get it back…grab that bolt of lightning again and electrify the golf world again. No one owned a sport like this guy and he has flushed it so far down the crapper I don’t know if a 30 for 30 can tell the real story and do it justice. What a waste, what a goofball! Be a freak, act a fool, do your thing, but for the love of jebuz call a damn uber or lyft when you have it like that!!! All the cool sports stories happening this Memorial Day weekend and his idiocy is the lead story….the word re-tard comes to mind….

Makes you sort of wonder what all led to this.  He’s been in the sport since he could walk and his dad essentially groomed him for it.  Could it just be that it all finally burst out that he was tired of it?  Tired of having to be the best at all times, tired of having to be the one?  I don’t know, makes me wonder sometimes about these kids growing up doing something this involved every second of their lives.  Like there is nothing more than football, golf, baseball, etc.  A lot of kids break because of this, perhaps all of this was Tiger Woods breaking.

He was arrested at 7 am. It must have been a big time situation of a party or something. I do not know that he has a significant other in his life. He shares custody of his kids. He may be a big star I’d bet his life is kind of lonely. That is pure speculation, but it is a real possibility. Regardless, it’s not mature behavior. I’m not sure how many public chances one can get, but Tiger will get a few more than average, in my opinion.

Woods’ statement says alcohol not involved, but rather was the result of unwanted effects from a combination of prescription medications. I may be biased here, but maybe run things by a pharmacist, Tiger.

Or get help because chances are he is abusing.  Hate it, but that tends to be the case rather than just a mixup.

^ I see this often. House wives, professionals, etc… start out with medication for a legitimate problem, and the beast of addiction begins to rear it’s ugly head. I will not speculate regarding Woods, but I can tell you the abuse of Rx narcotics has gotten so bad that Pharmacists are now virtual guardians at the gate controlling access to medications. The bad part is when folks with genuine problems get caught in the middle.
