Getting caught up on the latest recruiting happenings in South Georgia and North Florida over the past week.

• Class of 2016 DE prospect De’Andre Gardenhire-Washington out of Camden County High School recently picked up his first offer from Old Dominion. Gardenhire-Washington was named the overall top performer at the MVP Camp in Valdosta in February.

• Class of 2015 RB prospect Antonio Wimbush, also out of Camden County, recently picked up his second and third scholarship offers. Having previously held an offer from Marshall, Wimbush picked up offers this week from Old Dominion and James Madison. He also says that he is in regular contact with Georgia Southern.

• Class of 2017 WR prospect D.J. Matthews out of First Coast High School continues to be one of the top prospects in his class. Matthews picked up his fourth offer this week, with the latest school to enter the mix being Florida State.

• Class of 2015 S prospect Carlos Pickett out of Brunswick High School picked up offers from Troy and Mercer on Thursday. Pickett picked up his first offer from Marshall the week prior.

• Class of 2016 five-star WR prospect Demetris Robertson out of Savannah Country Day recently picked up an offer from Mississippi State. Robertson now holds 20 offers.

• Class of 2017 five-star DB prospect Richard LeCounte out of Liberty County High School recently received an offer from UCLA. LeCounte is now up to 19 scholarship offers.

• Class of 2015 DB prospect Exavius Medlock out of Brooks County High School has picked up his first offers from Troy and Tennessee State. Medlock is also hearing from coaches at Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Western Kentucky, Army, Georgia Tech and Clemson.

• Class of 2016 RB prospect Andrew Lee out of Charlton County High School recently was visited by coaches from Florida State and USF. He will be attending a camp at Georgia in a couple of weeks, and there is a good chance that an offer could be coming his way.
