Mason stood out at the Explosive Southern Pigskin Football Camp, held in Brunswick, back in March.

Corky Rogers, Bolles High School’s head football coach, was inducted into the Florida High School Hall of Fame in 2005. He played two years of pro football for the Baltimore Colts.

He is a living legend in Jacksonville, Florida, having won 10 championships. When he took over the football program at Bolles High School, Sports Illustrated ranked them as the 9th-best high school program in the country. Rogers will go down as the winningest coach in Florida high school history.

Now, what’s so interesting about Rogers taking over the program? He has a grandson who attends Bolles High School. His grandson’s name is Mason Yost.

Mason Yost is a 6’3″, 228 pound tight end. Yost is a stand out high school athlete, who has not only done well on the field, but also maintains a solid 3.8 GPA in school.

Mason has received phone calls from UTSA and will have a chance to visit Samford University this summer.

Although UTSA has been calling, Yost would like to receive an offer from Samford soon.

Mason stood out at the Explosive Southern Pigskin Football Camp, held in Brunswick, back in March. He received an honorary trophy for his outstanding play.

“I try to model my game after Rob Gronkowski of course, some people call me Gronk junior. I’m not as big as him but I find it funny,” Mason Yost said.

Yost said he gets his inspiration from his grandfather and that his grandfather is always tough on him because he sees so much potential. He looks up to him and hopes to follow in his footsteps.
