The Tigers rushed for over 300 yards in a 40-29 win at Ole Miss.

1. Auburn is on a remarkable run. After a 40-29 win at Ole Miss, the Tigers have won five games in a row and have four conference victories in that stretch. For the month of October, Auburn has now scored 58, 38, 56 and 40 points in its quartet of games. With a victory in Oxford, the Tigers' lone loss in their last six games away from home is just the 54-46 overtime defeat at Arkansas. Gus Malzahn has Auburn at 6-2 overall and, more importantly, 4-1 in league play with Vanderbilt and trips to Georgia and Alabama remaining.

2. Needless to say, Kamryn Pettway is feeling it. He has rushed for at least 120 yards in six of his past seven games, including 236 yards and a score on Saturday against the Rebels. In Pettway's last three league games alone, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Mississippi State, he has 597 yards and six touchdowns. The Tigers' rushing attack, with the offensive line leading the way, simply continues to overwhelm opponents.

3. The fourth quarter was the difference for Auburn. Trailing by two points entering the final period, the Tigers outscored Ole Miss 13-0 down the stretch. Kicker Daniel Carlson made two field goals, two of his four on the night, and Kamryn Pettway sealed the victory with a short touchdown plunge. Joshua Holsey's interception and return may have been the key moment in the rally.

4. There simply weren't many critical mistakes on Auburn's end. The Tigers did not turn the football over and had just four penalties for 30 yards.

5. In a losing effort, Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly had a very productive performance. He threw for a school-record 465 yards and three touchdowns and was the team's leading rusher with 40 yards.
