Offensive Player of the Week: Darrynton Evans, App State — Carried the ball 21 times for 154 yards and three touchdowns to help beat Texas State 35-13.
Defensive Player of the Week: Jacques Boudreaux, Louisiana — Led the team with 11 tackles and forced a fumble in the Cajuns’ rout of Troy.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Kirk Merritt, Arkansas State — Returned a kickoff 94 yards to the end zone in the 38-33 win over Georgia Southern.
Coach of the Week: Billy Napier, Louisiana — Led his Ragin’ Cajuns to a resounding 53-3 victory over Troy, holding what was the league’s top scoring offense without a touchdown for the first time this season.
X-Factor of the Week: Layne Hatcher, Arkansas State — Tossed four touchdown passes to go along with 354 yards on 24 attempts to help beat Georgia Southern.
